Stiftelsen Silviahemmet; founded by H.M.Queen Silvia of Sweden in 1996 develop education programs and training based on the Silviahemmet care philosophy for dementia care.

Stiftelsen Silviahemmet provides basic training to i.e. nursing home personal, care giving relatives, physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and caregiving relatives. Silviahemmet also makes available certification programs for entities such as nursing homes or hospital wards.

Karolinska Institutet, a world-leading medical university and the home of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, offers executive educations in dementia care for physicians, occupational therapists and physiotherapists. The courses present the latest research in the field of dementia, focusing on diagnosis, disease mechanisms, palliative medicine and treatment.

Sophiahemmet University College of Nursing founded by H.M. Majesty Queens Sophia of Sweden in 1896 one of the most prestigious nursing schools in Sweden:  Master Course in dementia care for registered nurses and Diploma program for assistant nurses are provided in collaboration with Stiftelsen Silviahemmet. Sophiahemmet. Sophiahemmet also offer Master and specialized courses in other nursing specialities such as palliative care, emergency care, ambulance care, diabetes and cardiology.

Svenskt Demencentrum; Center of Excellence for Dementia Care founded by Stiftelsen Silviahemmet in collaboration with Stockholm Äldrecentrum in 2008 financed by the Swedish Government with the aim of facilitating distribution of knowledge, research and best practice regarding dementia care.
